Catch ban evaders on Discord

When a new member behaves like someone you already banned — same targets, same tone, same timing — check them before the next raid, not after.

• Right-click the member in Discord and choose Copy User ID.
• Paste it into Doogle and read the certain layer first.
• Hold the IDs you find against your ban list or your mod log.

Do it when the account joins, not when it starts trouble: the report is the same, and you are ahead of the problem instead of cleaning up after it. A certain alt that matches a banned ID is a ban evader. Most reports come back in under a second, and your first search each week is free. If the certain layer is empty, the alt detection page explains what the medium and possible layers can and cannot tell you.

You can run it the other way round. Search the ID of the account you banned and Doogle lists the accounts linked to it — including ones that have not joined your server yet.

That turns a single ban into a short list of accounts to recognise on sight. Note the certain alts in your mod log, and if your moderation bot can ban by ID, you can deal with them before they ever post. The same goes for a raid: search the account that led it, and the report gives you the list to watch before the next one.

Keep the banned account's fingerprint with the ban reason too: five words that follow the person, not the account, so the next mod on shift knows what to look for.

Ban evaders come back on their own schedule. Instead of searching the same account every week, add the banned account to your watchlist.

Not every return is a certain match, and a wrong ban costs you a member and some trust. Act on certain alts. Treat medium alts as a strong lead: compare them with what you know — join date, behaviour, who they talk to — before you ban. Keep possible alts on the watchlist and wait for the next signal.

A long count of blocked VPN attempts on the newcomer, or a Lens™ record full of bans on other servers, is context worth reading alongside the layers. None of them replaces your own judgement: Doogle gives you the history, your team makes the call. When you do ban on a medium match, write down why in your log: the next moderator, and the member if they appeal, deserve the reasoning.
